A chunky silver ring with flecks of 24ct gold leaf.
 
The ring is made with a 6mm wide piece of silver sheet and a bark texture added. Flecks of gold leaf were then applied to the surface and then polished up to show off the beautiful gold addition.
 
The gold leaf was applied using Keum-Boo which is an ancient Korean technique of gilding thin sheets of gold onto silver. The silver is heated and the gold sheet is pressed onto it, bonding the two together.
 
This ring is a UK-size Q but due to the width of the ring band, it would fit a size P best.
